Deed Ignatz TURK to Joseph BLENDER, Deed Record Book 1 1863-1865, Page
37-37 Lee County
Know all me by these presents, that we Ignatz Turk and Eva Maria
Frennziska TURK, His wife of Lee County and State of Iowa in
Consideration of the sum of two hundred and ninety five dollars in hand
paid by Joseph BLENDER of Lee County and State of Iowa do hereby sell
and convey unto the said Joseph BLENDER and to his heirs and assigns the
following described premises, to wit: One hundred feet starting on
second street and running back to same width to the alley, off of the
east end of the south half of lot number ten hundred and sixty six
(1066) in the town of Ft. Madison, County of Lee and State of Iowa, and
we do hereby convenant with the said Joseph BLENDER, that we are lawful
by seized in fee simple of said premises, that they are free from
incumberances, that we have good right and lawful authority to sell the
same, and we do hereby convenant to warrent and defend the said
premises, and appurtenances that thereto belonging against the lawful
claims of all persons wheresoever, and the said Eva Marie Frenziska TURK
hereby relinquishes all her right of Dower in and to the above described
premises signed the 21st day of March A.D. 1863

Lee County ss On this 21st day of March A.D. 1863, before me Charles
DOERR a Notary Public in and for said County, personally came Ignatz
TURK and Eva M. Franziska TURK his wife to me personally known to be the
identical persons who signed the above Deed as grantors and acknowledged
the execution of the same to be there voluntary act and deed.
