1885 newspaper article

Article in the "Weekly Constitution" newspaper, dated January 14, 1885, titled, "The Fire Fiend." In part, the article reads as follows: The record of fires in Keokuk for the year 1884. The article mentions each month of the year and who had fires, one of which is the month of January 31st which read as follows:

One and a half story frame dewelling, owned and occupied by Clay Kennison, Eighth and Ridge. Loss $125; insured. Cause, hot stove too close to partition.
