PRICHETT, WILLIAM, livery business and buying and selling stock ; was born in Greene Co., Penn., May 8, 1837 ; his parents came to Iowa and located in Fort Madison in 1839 ; were early settlers here; William has lived here forty years ; he has been engaged in the livery business since 1870, and is also engaged in buying and ship ping stock. He married Miss Mary E. Garrison in 1861 ; they have five children—Richard, Alice, Albert, Frank and John. Mr. Prichett's father died in 1876 ; his mother died in 1867.
