RIBYN, MATT., proprietor of Mississippi Brass-Foundry, on Main, near Tenth street ; Mr. R. was born in Bohemia in 1827 ; came to this country in 1849. Married Miss Theresa Felkik in St. Louis, Mo., in 1856; they removed to this city in 1866. Have four children—Matthias, Amelia, Theresa and George. During the war of the rebellion, Mr. Ribyn served in the three-months service. Is Republican in politics. Himself and wife are members of the Catholic Church.
