KISSICK, J. B., proprietor of the Opera House saloon, in the rear of the Post Office ; was in born Londonderry Co. , Ireland, in 1822; came to America in 1842; to Keokuk in 1867; started present business in 1876. In 1859, married Miss M. A. Lewis, at St. Louis ; she was born in Dublin, Ireland ; they have one child—Mami L., born in 1862. Mr. K. held the office of Justice of the Peace five years ; Liberal Republican.
