GRIFFIN, A. L., Vice President and General Superintendent of the St. Louis, Keokuk & Northwestern Rail way Company ; Mr. Griffin commenced railroading twenty-four years ago, and has been engaged in the business twenty years of the time which has elapsed since ; he was with the Delaware & Lackawanna R. R. Co., in Pennsylvania for twelve years ; five years Super intendent or the M. I. & N. Ry. Co.; two years with the road he now represents ; came to Keokuk Aug. 1, 1876 ; Mr. G. was was born in Albany, N. Y.; resided at Warsaw, Ill., several years previous to his removal to Keokuk.
