DRESSEL. CASPER, proprietor of " Casper's wine and beer hall, No. 10 Fifth st. ; born in Germany in 1838 ; came to America in 1849, and to Keokuk in 1870; started present business in 1870. Married Miss F. Lauff in 1860; she was born in Germany in 1840 ; they have four children ; the living are Elizabeth and Fred K. ; Lotta died in 1878, and an infant, un named. Mr. and Mrs. D. are members of the Lutheran Church. Mr. D. is a member of the Druids' Society. Liberal.
