ACKERMAN, GEORGE, dealer in groceries, wood and produce, corner of Tenth and Convert streets; was born in Fort Madison. Married Miss Margaret Gable, of Franklin, this county, in 1875; have one child - George Lawrence. Mr. A. engaged in his present business in 1871. Himself and wife are members of the Lutheran Church.
