Funeral service for Ann M. Kendall of Algona, 91, was conducted by the Rev. Cliff Isaacson at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 30, in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral home at Algona.

Interment was in North Lawn Cemetery at Fort Dodge at 12:30 p.m.

Casket bearers were Max King, Doug Holmes, Kurt King, Jeff Holmes. Todd Holmes, and Lyell Holmes. Ann M. Ruberg, the daughter of Frank and Anna Marie (Christoffersen) Ruberg, was born at HJorrlng, Denmark on Oct. 19. 1899. She moved with her family to Hardy. NE in 1901. In 1919, they moved to Canada, later returning to Hardy where Ann received her education. They moved to LuVerne in 1923. Ann was married to Frank Kendall at Fort Dodge March 25, 1938 and they made their home at Badger. Mr. Kendall died In 1964 and Ann lived with her sister, Cora Holmes, at Fort Dodge. She was employed as a sales clerk at Kresge's Department Store.

Following Ann's retirement, the two sisters moved to Humboldt to live. She became a resident at the Good Samaritan Care Center, Algona in October of 1989.

Ann Kendall died at the Good Samaritan Center Saturday, April 27 (1991).

She is survived by one brother, Peter Ruberg, LuVerne; and a sister, Mabel Holmes, Algona.

Her husband, parents, a brother. Chris Ruberg; and a sister, Cora Holmes, two nieces and a nephew are deceased.
