DEATH OF VETERAN.

O.H. Donnell, Well Known Citizen of Algona, Died Monday.
Ill for Several Months.

Another old soldier, a veteran of the Civil War, has answered the roll call. O. H. Donnell, a well known and honorable citizen of this city, has passed to his reward.

Oliver H. Donnell was born in Indiana, October 14, 1839. When a boy he moved with his parents to Iowa. He enlisted in Company I, First Iowa Cavalry, at the outbreak of the Civil War and served for three years. On February 20, 1899, he was united in marriage to Miss Lelia Vincent, who survives him.

Mr. Donnell had been ailing for several months and although it was known for several weeks that he could not fully recover, he was a patient sufferer, cheerful and faithful to the last. Funeral services were held at the home on Nebraska street at 11:30 Tuesday and the remains were then conducted to the old home at Hedrick, Iowa, for burial.
