Swea City Man Dropped Dead.
Swea City, May 22, Special: C. G. Peterson, a resident of Swea township since 1892, dropped dead while doing his chores on his farm. He was found there by his son, Rudolph. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Swedish Lutheran Church.

Mr. Peterson was born in Lindkopingsland, Sweden, November 9, 1861. He came to America when he was 20 years of age, settling first at Pecatonica, Illinois. Seven years later he moved to Marcus, Iowa where he was married in 1888. In 1892, he moved his family to northwest Kossuth. Besides Mrs. Peterson, four children survive as follows: Walter of Sioux City, Delius of Des Moines and Rudolph at home. One daughter is dead. There are four grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Carolina Thoreson, Osage and a brother Frank Peterson of Lake Benton, Minnesota, are living.
