Obituary:

Mrs. T. H. Cullen, a sister of Mrs. F. A. Larkin of this city, whose death occurred Thursday morning of last week at Whittemore, Ia., was quite well known here on numerous occasions in past years. Mrs. Cullen had been in poor health for some time past, but her last illness extended over a period of a little more than three weeks.

Funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Emmetsburg, Iowa, on Saturday, and the remains were laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery at that place. The large attendance at the funeral, and the beautiful floral offerings were an expression of the high esteem in which the deceased was held.

Bridget Estella Donahue was born near Elkader, Clayton county, Iowa, on August 21, 1862. In March, 1885, she moved with her parents to Palo Alto county, Iowa, settling on a farm near the inland town of Depew, where they resided for a short time, later moving to a farm near the present village of Fenton, Iowa, where she made her home with her parents until 1889.

On November 19, 1889, Miss Donahue was married to Thomas H. Cullen, and they located on a farm adjoining the village of Cylinder, Iowa, in Palo Alto county, Iowa. [obituary copy runs out here…]
