Nov 28, 1940 - Humboldt Republican - Mrs. Nicholas Weydert Jr. of St. Joe passed away at the Kossuth hospital in Algona Thursday morning, Nov. 21, 1940, at 11:30 a.m., from injuries she received in a car accident on October 17th.

Agnes Leveck, only child of Jake and the late Margaret Leveck, was born Dec 4, 1910, and was 29 years, 11 months, and 17 days of age at the time of her death. Her mother died when she was but a few weeks old. She spent most of her life in this vicinity and attended St. Joseph's parochial school here and was graduated from St. Angelas Academy at Great Falls, Montana.

On January 19, 1937, she was united in marriage to Nicholas Weydert Jr. To this union one son Jerome was born. She is survived by her son, her husband and her father and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9:30 in St. Joseph's church with Father Geo. Theobald reading the Requiem High Mass. Interment was in the Joseph's cemetery. Pall bearers were Harold Roothler, Joseph Faber, George Faber, Lee Weydert, John Weydert and Mike Weydert.
