March 27, 1936 - Humboldt Republican - Mrs. Henry Loerwald of LuVerne died last Sunday afternoon after an illness of only three days. She was being taken to a Fort Dodge hospital that afternoon but became worse when they reached Livermore. The patient was then taken to the Catholic church in Livermore and died within a short time.

Her sister, Miss Gales, R.N., was with her. Mrs. Loerwald was the former Cecilia Gales, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Chris Gales of Livermore. Funeral services were held Thursday morning at the St. Joseph's church in St. Joe.

She leaves her husband and two children, Charles, one year old, and Mary Ann, about 2 and 1/2 years, old her parents, and several brothers and sisters.
