Dec 11, 1924 - Kossuth County Advance - Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. John Lenertz, which occurred at Chicago last Thursday.

Mrs Lenertz was born and reared in St Joe and was well known in that community. Her maiden name was Anna Reding. She was married to John Lenertz 35 years ago. Twenty years ago she and her husband moved to Chicago. Her husband died ten years ago.

She left three brothers and three sisters: Mrs Hangels, Chicago; J.B. Waldbillig and Mrs. Tony Zwack, Dubuque; Mrs. Nick Marso, Marian, S.D.; Frank Waldbillig, St Benedict; and John Reding Washington.

The remains were to arrive at Livermore this week Tuesday morning and the funeral services were to be held at St Joe the same day. Mrs Lenertz was 56 years of age at death.

Present to attend the funeral were: Mrs Anna Hangels, Mr and Mrs Tony Zwack and son Anthony, and J.B. Waldbillig.
