Dec 19, 1950 - Algona Upper Des Moines - Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Erpelding were held this morning, Tuesday, from the St. Joe Catholic church. Father Theobold officiated. Burial was in the St. Joe cemetery. The Hamilton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Harold Reding, Joe Reding, Adam Laubenthal, John Bormann, John Erpelding, and Andrew Laubenthal.

Mrs. Erpelding died Sunday, Dec. 17, at St. Ann hospital, at the age of 79. She was born Aug. 25, 1872, in Luxembourg, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Reding. She came to this country in 1891, settling near Livermore and later in the St. Joe vicinity. She married Mike Erpelding, Nov. 12, 1896. at St. Joe. There are no children.

Surviving are a brother and a sister: John Reding, Whittemore; and Mary, Mrs. John Reding, St. Joe. Her parents, two brothers, two sisters and husband preceded her in death.
