RUSSEL WRIGHT AND ALGONA GIRL WEDDED ON NEW YEAR’S

A happy event the Advance missed last week and the week before was the marriage of Miss Hazel White, daughter of Mrs. J. M. White, on New Year’s day. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Scott, pastor of the First Methodist church, Des Moines, and took place in his study. During their stay in Des Moines the newlyweds were guests at the Wm. Bollinger home. They have now begun housekeeping at Cedar Rapids.

Mr. Wright was with the Bowles-Kessler Grain Co. three years, but now represents the Russel-Miller Milling Co., of Cedar Rapids, in eastern Iowa territory.

His bride was until recently head bookkeeper for the Bowles-Kessler company.

Both bride and groom have many warm friends in Algona.
