Dr. E.E. Sayers
Was born on a farm in Ohio. Attended the public schools of that state and the Northwestern Ohio Normal School at Ada, Ohio. finished his education at I.S.C., Ames, Iowa, where he graduated in Veterinary department in November, 1885. Immediately moved to Algona, Iowa, where he has since resided. Was appointed Assistant State Veterinarian in April, 1888, which position he holds at present. Was Mayor of Algona for two terms and a member of the City Council for several years. Is Director in First National and Kossuth County State bonks, Algona. Owns and operates 800 acres in Kossuth county. Was appointed member of Animal Health Commission July, 1920.
