Earnest Dietrich Strohman born in German Township March 1, 1862. Passed away April 8, 1916, aged 54 years, 1 month and 7 days. Was united in marriage to Mollie Wyant January 25, 1888, who precede him into the other world, passing hence October 23, 1908. To this union were born four children, Geneva, Emerson, and Maurice, besides a girl who passed away in her infancy.

Mr. Strohman leaves to mourned his departure the three children and three brothers, Henry, John and William and one sister, and a host of devoted friends. Mr. Strohman was a member of the German Lutheran church, having been confirmed into the church as a boy. He remained true to his faith and when no longer able to attend the church of his choice he devoted his attention and interest to the up building of the Congregational Church near his home. His neighbors speak very highly of his integrity as a man and neighbor. Faithful in his relationship with his fellowmen he will be missed by many who admired him. He was a man singularly free from worry judging from outward appearances, and had the happy faculty of doing a thing right if done at all. German Township is richer because Mr. Strohman lived there and will be missed by his many friends.

The funeral was held yesterday at the Webster Congregational Church, Rev. Janson having charge of the service. Burial at White Pigeon Cemetery by side of his wife.
