Altia Vern Moore, 91, of Sigourney died Friday, August 14, 1992, at Sigourney Care Center.

She was born June 18, 1901, in Harvey to Dan and Eliza Cox Redding. She married Romeo Moore on September 24, 1919, in Sigourney. He died June 22, 1964.

She attended school in Harvey. She and her husband farmed in the Hedrick and Delta areas, retiring to Delta. She was presently residing at Sigourney Care Center.

She is survived by one daughter, Helen Rose and her husband Delmar; two granddaughters, Patricia Seaba and Marilyn Walsh; one grandson, Jim Rose; nine great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Romeo, her parents, two grandchildren, one great-grandson, three sisters, and two brothers.

The service was 1:30 p.m, Sunday, August 16, 1992, at Holm Funeral Home in Sigourney, Vince Homan officiating. Burial was in Garrett Cemetery near Delta.
