Mary Jane Dawson, 66, of Delta died Friday, March 26, 1993, at Mahaska County Hospital.

She was born December 6, 1926, in Foley, Minn. to Harley Edward and Violet E. Miller Woods. She married Gerald Dawson on June 10, 1943, in Ottumwa.

She was a homemaker and helped her husband on their farm near Delta.

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Scott and Travis; a grandson; five brothers, Edward, Harold, George Robert, Clifford and Forrest; and two sisters, Hazel Bird and Delores Hermanstorfer.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Cecil Woods; and a sister, Lucy Fox.

Services were held at 1: 00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, 1993, at Reynolds Funeral Chapel in Sigourney, the Rev. Vince Homan officiating. Burial was in Garrett Cemetery near Delta.
