RICHLAND - Mrs. Howard J. Morrow, 81, longtime resident of the Richland community, died at 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Parkview Care Center in Fairfield where she had been a patient the past few days. She had been in ill health the past year.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Gould Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Pitts officiating. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery at Richland.

Hildred J. Morrow was born June 9, 1893, near Richland, the daughter of John and Ella Smith Brolliar. She was married Aug. 14, 1920, to Howard J. Morrow, who survives. Mrs. Morrow was a member of the Richland American Legion Auxiliary, and she lived in the Richland community all of her life.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Morrow is survived by one son, Kenneth, and a daughter, Faye Morrow, both of Richland; along with a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
