Monday Rites For Lafe Ingle

OLLIE - Funeral services for Lafe Ingle, 88, retired farmer, were held Monday at the Ollie Baptist Church with Rev. George Nehf officiating. Burial was in the Ollie cemetery.

Ingle died Saturday at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, where he had been a patient for six days.

He was born Nov. 4, 1885, in Ollie, the son of Isaac Jefferson and Nancy Ruby Ingle. He was a lifetime Ollie resident.

He was married to Susan McWilliams, July 17, 1918. Surviving are his widow and four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Hubbs of Des Moines, Mrs. Blanche Davis of Wellman, Mrs. Clara Curtis of Sigourney and Mrs. Celia Barnes of Dubar, Wis. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, and three brothers.

Fremont Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
