Grave services for C. Snider

RICHLAND - Grave services for Cecil A. Snider, former resident of the Fairfield area, will be in Friends Cemetery at Richland at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Lamoni. We had been a patient in the Lamoni Rest Home since December, 1980.

Following the grave services at Richland, friends may call at the home of Mrs. Fred Oliver, 300 W. Hempstead, in Fairfield.

Cecil A. Snider was born Dec. 28, 1905, in Jefferson County. He was the son of G.W. and Isa Tracy Snider. He was married to Helen C. Fulton June 1, 1931, in the United Methodist Church in Fairfield.

They made their at Warsaw, Ill., where Snider served in the field of education for 40 years. They later lived at Reynolds, Ill.

In addition to his widow, he is survived by three children: Jo Ann Bridge, Lamoni; Fred, Chicago; and Dennis A., Riverside, Ill.

Other survivors include eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clemans H., Burlington, and Quentin, Galesburg, Ill.; and Quentin, Galesburg, Ill; and a sister, Mary Lynn, Burlington.

Snider was preceded in death by one brother and a sister.
