Arthur Albert Just, 57, of Mt. Vernon, Mo., died Jan. 25, 1986 of Leukemia and complications.

He was born March 3, 1928 at Clintonville, Wisc., the son of Albert and Zena Poppe Just.

He was received into the Kingdom of Grace through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism, May 27, 1928 at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church in Clintonville. In August 1941 he made his confession of faith by the Rite of Confirmation at Zion Lutheran Church in Embarrass, Wisconsin.

He was united in marriage to Kathryn Karol Elder June 17, 1967.

He moved to Iowa in 1942. For much of the time he farmed he lived near What Cheer. In 1981 he moved with his family to a farm near Mt. Vernon, Missouri, where he lived at the time of his death. He also worked for the Lawrence County Nursing Home in Mt. Vernon.

Survivors include his wife; children, Andrew, Eugene and Kristi; and a sister, Dorothy Dugger of Sigourney, Iowa.

Preceding him in death were his parents and three children, John Eric, Karolyn Kimberly and a stillborn daughter; and a sister, Nina Nanke.

Services were January 28 at Grace Lutheran Church in Aurora, Missouri. Burial was in Salem Cemetery near Mt. Vernon, Missouri.
