Last Will and Testament of John B. Love,
Keokuk Co. Iowa Courthouse
“In view of the uncertainty of life and the certainty of death, I, John B. Love of Sigourney, Keokuk County, Iowa being of sound and disposing mind and memory and hereby revoking any and all wills by me at anytime heretofore made, do make and publish this my last will and testament and say
First: that after my death my body shall be decently buried and all my just debts paid.
Second: I hereby bequeath unto my beloved wife Lydia Love all my estate both real and personal she to have the same absolutely.
Third: I hereby nominate my wife Lydia Love the executrix of this my last will and request that she be not required to give bond. [?] whereof I have hereunto set my hand this 2nd day of Sept. 1899. John B. Love
We signed the above as witnesses at the request of the testator John B. Love and he signed the same in our presence and we signed in his presence and in the presence of each other Sept. 2, 1899. Wm/ Beatty Sr. [?]
