And Thus it Goes
~
It will be remembered that we announced a few days ago that Messrs. Bruce and Daniels had purchased a piece of ground at the corner of Johnson and 4th, at a cost $87, 85 per foot, which amounted to $12,300.

They have since sold four twenty foot lots for $125 per foot, on 4th and an obligation to build next season, jointly with Bruce and Daniels, who will build the other three. The houses will be 20 by 85 feet, seven in number, and four stories high.

Also, they have purchased the lot by the Methodist Church – corner of 4th and Exchange, where they are selling to men who are to build up the entire block next season, also consisting of seven stores, three stories high.

Messrs. Bruce and Daniels are valuable business men in this community. Go ahead.

It is said by some that Mr. Anderson cheated Bruce and Daniels when he sold to them for $10,000, but it will be seen they were not so green.
