Found a new tidbit on Pearl and Fred Hallfrisch:
Both were charged with adultery in May 1917, both pleading guilty on 3 May 1917.
They were sentenced to 2 years in state prison at Waupun on that date.
The charges were bound over on 13 Dec 1917 (with an original date of 19 Apr).
Not sure if they actually served time or not.
