S. R. Covington died very suddenly at Maquoketa and his remains were brought to Anamosa for burial, the funeral services being held in the M.E. church Monday afternoon. Mr. Covington was employed in the electric light plant at Anamosa for some years, and later was a guard at the Reformatory, but moved to Maquoketa to accept a position with the electric light company there. He is survived by his wife and several children. One son and a daughter, Mrs. Frank Wightman reside here.
