Services were held today, July 27, at 10:30 a.m. for Emma "Bea" Tasker, 63, who died July 24 at Anamosa Community Hospital.

Rev. Loren Simpson officiated at services held at United Methodist Church. Burial was at Cady Cemetery east of Wyoming.

Pallbearers were S. L. Schoenthaler, Arthur Ehlers, William Finkenbinder, John Eichhorn, Peter Brodersen and Richard Eichhorn.

Tasker was born in Iowa County, Iowa, March 13, 1915, the daughter of Virgil and Elizabeth Jones.

She graduated from Williamsburg High and attended State Teachers College and Upper University of Iowa.

During World War II, she served in the Women's Army Corps.

On April 7, 1946, she married Paul Pasker at Williamsburg. The couple farmed east of Wyoming until 1974 when they moved to Wyoming.

Tasker taught in eastern Iowa and for many years in the Wyoming area. She was member of the United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women.

She is survived by her husband Paul; two sons, Hugh, Wyoming and Henry, Muscatine; one daughter, Ann Stender, Cascade; one sister, Ida Tasker, Wyoming; one brother, Wesley Jones, Keota; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
