SCOTCH GROVE - Funeral services were held Monday, March 29 for Mrs. Stephen Hoch, 49, a native of Scotch Grove who died in Wyandotte, Mich. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, Monticello with the Rev. Walter A. Behrens as officiating clergyman.

Minnie Marie Sackett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dunham M. Sackett, Scotch Grove, was born July 1, 1921. She attended local schools and graduated from Monticello community high school in 1940. July 13, 1946 she was married to Stephen Hoch at Wyandotte where they had made their home since. She was a member of Trintiy Lutheran church.

Survivors include her husband; five children, Charles; Mrs. Alan (Karen) Reifsnider, Linda and Gary, all of Wyandotte; Stephen, United States Navy; her mother, Mrs. Bertha Sackett, Monticello, and three grandchildren.

Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Fred Rickels, Anamosa and Mrs. Louis Frank, Wyandotte; six brothers, Roy and Willis, Walker; James and Walter, Cedar Rapids; Ellis, Monticello and Leonard, Hopkinton. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers.

Casketbearers were Victor Lamont, Duane Billings, Raymond Lux, Joseph Huxtable, Raymond Kirby and Anthony Puetz.
