OXFORD JUNCTION - Ward Lathrop, 58, died at his home in Minneapolis, Saturday, Oct. 3, of a heart attack.

Funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 5, at his home, with burial in Durand, Wisc.

Mr. Lathrop was born in Oxford Junction community, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lathrop, long-time residents here. He also lived for some time at Monticello after his marriage.

He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Renee Smith, Minneapolis, Mrs. Mary Norlin, Monticello, and Mrs. Patricia Blair, Durand, Wisc.

Niece, Mrs. Hans Ahrendsen, Oxford Junction, attended the funeral. Her mother, Mrs. Lloyd Ballou, Olin, is a sister of Mr. Lathrop, and Tom Lathrop, Onslow, is a brother.
