WYOMING - Frank S. Willey, 70, died at his home, Monday, Feb. 23, at 2:30 p.m., after a short illness.

Funeral service was held in the Wallace funeral home, Wyoming, Thursday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m., and in the Presbyterian church at Lost Nation at 2:30 p.m. Rev. F. E. Somerville officiated.

Walter Sullivan, Wyoming, sang three hymns during the service, accompanied by Mrs. Sullivan at the organ. Masonic rites were given at the church.

Casket bearers were nephews of Mr. Willey, Grover Willey, Marlyn Willey, Lavern Willey, Oliver Willey, Lloyd Kleeman and Allen Kleeman.

Mr. Dillon Propst, Mrs. Frank Ihns and Mrs. Carrel Blood were in charge of the flowers. Burial was in the Lost Nation cemetery.

Mr. Willey was born in Lost Nation, son of the late Ira and Viola Becken Willey, in 1882. He lived in that vicinity most of his life and engaged in farming.

He was a member of Harbor Lodge 556 A.F. and A.M., Lost Nation. On Dec. 16, 1908, he was united in marriage to Miss Sophas Wiedeman, Lost Nation. Six sons were born to this union. In 1950 he retired from farming and moved to Wyoming.

He is survived by his wife and his sons, Ira and Melvin, Wyoming; Ralph, Mt. Vernon; Robert, Richmond, Calif.; Lawrence, Grand Mound; Dr. Elmer Willey, Estherville; ten grandchildren.

Six sisters, Mrs. Etta Ott, Lost Nation; Mrs. Austin Conwell, Oxford Junction; Mrs. Ida Beer, Clinton; Mrs. Elmer Hoff, Maquoketa; Mrs. John Kleeman, Monmouth; Mrs. Carl Bicknese, Wheatland; four brothers, Aaron and Richard, Maquoketa, and Cleveland, Lost Nation; John, Toronto.

One sister, Delia, preceded him in death.
