OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie Ledvina, 81, were held Monday afternoon at Hayden funeral home, with the Rev. Nevin Williams officiating. Interment was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Ledvina died June 10 at Jackson County hospital, Maquoketa. She was born March 19, 1886, in Oxford Jct., the daughter of Charles and Mary Shedek. She was married to Joe Ledvina, who preceded her in death in 1938.

She was also preceded in dead by her parents, a sister and brother.

Survivors include: one son, Edward of Oxford Jct., one brother, Louis Shedek, of Oxford Jct.; one sister, Mrs. Emma Wallace of Moline; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
