MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Harold Dean Tedrow, 46, were held Saturday afternoon, Jan. 6, at Goettsch funeral home. The Rev. Glenn Bender and the Rev. Paul Bendit officiated. Interment was in Oakwood cemetery. Masonic rites were conducted Friday evening, Jan. 5.

Mr. Tedrow died suddenly of a heart attack Wednesday morning, Jan. 3, at his home, northwest of Monticello. He was born April 7, 1921, the son of Harold B. and Hattie Rice Tedrow at Monticello.

He attended Monticello schools and was a 1938 graduate. He also attended Coe college. The Tedrow family operated Tedrow's sweet shop in Monticello for 19 years, and for the past seven years he farmed near Monticello. He married Margaret Schleder Jan. 11, 1945.

Mr. Tedrow was a member of Burns Lodge No. 173, AF & AM of Monticello.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Larry, stationed with the United States Air force in Cheyenne, Wyo., and Lynn, at home; a daughter, Diane, at home; his mother, Mrs. Hattie Tedrow of Monticello.

Casketbearers were John Fraser, Robert Bartlett, Colin Tschantz, Clarence Hosford, Wesley Hanken, Olin Howie, Jr., Victor Richardson and Gilbert Hearn.
