Services for Jerome Donahue, of Temple Hill, who was found dead in Cascade Thursday, were held Saturday from the Devaney funeral home in Cascade to St. Peter's church in Temple Hill.
He was born July 2, 1875, in Temple Hill, son of the late William and Mary Agnes (Finn) Donahue. He had lived in this vicinity all his life. He married Lucille Peas in March, 1922, at St. Martin's church, Cascade.
Surviving are the wife; three sons, Patrick Donahue, Cedar Rapids, Leo Donahue of Onslow, and Pvt. Albert Donahue, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas; three daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Katherine) Gautz of Dubuque, Miss Lucille Marie Donahue of Davenport; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Supple of Cascade, Mrs. George (Laura) Nordman of Monticello, and Mrs. WIlliam (Agnes) Keating of Anamosa; two brothers, William Donahue of Dubuque and Michael Donahue of Cascade. He was preceded by two sisters and a brother.
