OXFORD JCT. - Funeral services for Henry Hunawatsen, 76, who died Jan. 19 at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids, of complications following surgery, were held Saturday at Hayden funeral home. The Rev. Gallespie of St. Mark's Lutheran church officiated. Burial was in Mayflower cemetery.

He was born Oct. 21, 1889 in Oxford Jct., the son of Ed and Katherine Hunawatsen. He was married to Amelia Hronik Sept. 26, 1912. They have always lived in Oxford Jct. He was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Evelyn) Jenkins of Oceanside, Calif.; two brothers, Emil and Tom, both of Oxford Jct. one granddaughter and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Arline.
