OLIN - Funeral services for Virgil Ferguson, 45, were held Friday morning, May 6, in the Methodist church. Burial was in the city cemetery at Monona.

Mr. Ferguson died May 3 at the Methodist Medical Center in Houston, Tex. following a long illness. He was born Dec. 6, 1920, the son of Herbert A. and Grace Dull Ferguson. He attended the Olin schools and served in the U.S. Navy. He was married to Mary Sabah on June 20, 1946 in Brooklyn, N.Y. They had farmed the past 16 years.

He was a member of the American Legion, Masonic lodge and Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Grace Ferguson, Cedar Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Marguerite Peterson and a brother, John, both of Cedar Rapids.
