OLIN - Funeral services for S. Robert Sharon, 54, an Olin businessman for 15 years, were held Tuesday afternoon at the EUB church with the Rev. M. L. Dutro officiating. Burial was in the Olin cemetery.

Mr. Sharon died early Sunday morning at University hospitals, Iowa City, from complications following heart surgery Friday. He was born May 10, 1911 near Des Moines, and had lived at Olin since 1946.

He was employed four years at Hy-Grade before starting his own egg and poultry business in 1950. He later went into the feed and seed business and was owner and operator of Sharon Feed & Seed Co. at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Keith of Olin, Robert of Des Moines and Melvin of Iowa City; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Clark, LaMars, and one granddaughter.
