MONTICELLO - Funeral services for Denise Elizabeth Albright, 10, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darold Albright, were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran church. The Rev. C. C. Gutekunst officiated. Burial was at Oakwood cemetery.

Denise died Saturday morning, May 15, at the University hospital in Iowa City, a victim of acute leukemia. She first became ill last September, but had attended school until recently.

She was born July 8, 1954, at Webster City, the daughter of Darold and Marilyn Niebuhr Albright. She attended St. John's Lutheran Sunday school, was a member of Camp Fire Girls and was in the fifth grade at Shannon school at the time of her death.

Survivors include her parents and one brother Dennis, 6, of the home; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Niebuhr of Perry; her paternal grandfather, H. W. Albright of Springdale, Ark.

Pallbearers included Robert Niebuhr, Wilbert Niebuhr, Donald Niebuhr, Delbert Niebuhr, Lloyd Chaisson and William Hollis.
