STONE CITY - Mrs. Mayme Green, 88, Stone City, died Monday, April 13, at Mercy hospital, Anamosa.

Funeral services were held Thursday, April 16, at 8:30 a.m., at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Stone City. Burial was in Holy Cross cemetery, Anamosa. McNamara Funeral home, Anamosa, was in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers included William Weber, Lawrence Shanney, Bill Porter, Lawrence LaBarge, Gerald Sampica and Harold Larson.

She was born July 1, 1875, daughter of John B. Ronen and Mary Gleason Ronen, Viola. She was married Jan. 3, 1894, to John J. Green, Marion, at Stone City. She had lived her married life in Marion and Stone City.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Brown, Anamosa; Mrs. Lucille Smith, Des Moines; one son, William, Stone City; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Bernard; four brothers and two sisters.
