Mrs. J.A. Day, mother of Fred A. Day of 1038 Seventeenth street NE, died Friday morning at Wyoming, Ia., at the age of 79. Mrs. Day had lived in Wyoming about fifty-five years. She was born in Iberia, Ohio, Opril[sic] 14, 1958.
Mrs. Day is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Francis Woodworth and Mrs. Grace Dick, both of Wyoming; two sons, Fred A. Day of Cedar Rapids and Howard Day of Wyoming; two brothers, Edward and James McClaren, both living in Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Kyle and Mrs. Sarah Jagger, both of Ohio, and Mrs. Minta Collins and Mrs. Florence Sherril in California; and ten grandchildren.
