OXFORD JUNCTION - Final rites were held Tuesday morning from the Sacred Heart church for Mrs. Anna Sazma, 82, who died Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, where she had been receiving treatment during the last week for an infected gallbladder. The Rev. Fr. Joseph Gregor conducted the service. Those serving as pallbearers were Otto Shedek, Louis Divoky, Frank Divoky, Arnold Bisinger, Otto Bisinger, and Lee Ales. Interment was in the Mayflower cemetery.

Mrs. Sazma was born Anna Divoky in Oxford Junction, Feb. 20, 1863, and lived here her entire life. She was the daughter of Frank and Katherine Divoky. She was united in marriage to Mathias Sazma at Baldwin, Feb. 18, 1885, and together they farmed north of Oxford Junction, where she made her home until her death.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart church, and the Rosary society. She is survived by one son, Ed, Oxford Junction, and three daughters, Mrs. J. A. Bouska, Protivin, and Miss Christine and Mrs. C. N. Hayden, Oxford Junction, and six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Her husband, four sisters and three brothers, preceded her in death.
