Mrs. Acie Young, 62, died Thursday, March 7, at her home in Marion following a long illness. Funeral service was held Sunday, March 10, at a Marion chapel with burial at Oak Shade cemetery.

Born April 23, 1863, at Bagley, Iowa, she was married there June 12, 1901. Couple lived in Anamosa several years, moving to Marion 16 years ago. He died in November, 1942. She was a member of the Marion Methodist church and the women's society of the church.

Surviving are two sons, Floyd, Anamosa; Harold A., Cedar Rapids; six daughters, Mrs. Bonnie Meade, Mrs. Ethel Kidwell and Mrs. Ruby Aldrich, Monticello; Mrs. Lillian Karl, Fairfax; Mrs. Eva Burns and Mrs. Dorothy Price, Marion; a brother, Chester Cramer, Des Moines; 26 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
