Funeral services for Clifford Kenyon, 71, who died Sunday at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, was held Tuesday at the Smykil funeral home. Rev. Homer E. Darlymple of the Congregational church officiated. Burial was in the family lot at Monticello.

He was born Feb. 10, 1874, at Monticello. He never married. Kenyon was a guard at the men's reformatory here for more than 20 years, retiring about two years ago. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Clara Fisher.
