Committal service was held Thursday afternoon in the Wyoming cemetery for Miss Lydia Luella Arnold, 79, who died last Tuesday in her home at Lisbon. Funeral service was held in Mount Vernon.

Native of Jones county, Miss Arnold was the eldest daughter of the late Riley and Cecelia Arnold. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Phelps, Stanwood, and Mrs. Retta Petterson, California; a brother, C. E. Arnold, Cedar Rapids, and two aunts, Miss Emma Sawyer and Mrs. S. H. Brainard, Wyoming.
