OLIN--Funeral service for Nelson Capron was conducted at United Brethren church, Sunday afternoon, Jan. 21, by Rev. W. T. Boston. Interment was in the Olin cemetery.

Casket bearers were: Jay McCormick, Guy Thompson, Frank Story, Byron Frazier, Guy Macomber and John Gordon.

Capron is survived by his wife and children, and 12 grandchildren, his father, E. C. Capron, Manilla, Ia., who is 89 years old; one sister, Mrs. Veva Mansfield, South Milwaukee, Wis., two brothers, John, Appleton, Wis., and Bert, Manilla, Ia. He died at the hospital in Cedar Rapids, Jan. 18, following an accident.

Nelson Samuel, son of Clark and Anna Capron, was born Jan. 17, 1880, at Rhodes, Ia., and grew to manhood in that community. He came to Olin in 1909, where he had resided since. On June 20, 1911, he was united in marriage to Delsie Lindley. To this union seven children were born, four boys and three girls, namely: Clark, Anamosa; Mrs. Leoda Gabbert, Davenport; Mrs. Dolly Stolte, Mechanicsville; Garland, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Althia Ellison, Lisbon; Elvern, in Italy with the Army; and Harry in the Philippines, also in the Army.

Mrs. Nellie Stivers and Mrs. Emma Clay sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Good Night and Good Morning," accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Elna Rohwedder.
