OXFORD JUNCTION--Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the Brady funeral home in Cedar Rapids with burial in the Cedar Memorial cemetery for Mrs. Harry Schmidt, 47, former Oxford Junction resident.

As Louise Vohuska, she was born here July 7, 1897, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Vohuska. She was married to Harry Schmidt, Oct. 23, 1922, and had made her home in Cedar Rapids where she died Sunday, June 11, after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Donald Schmidt, in the Navy at DeLand, Fla., and Corp. Duane Schmidt, Camp Shanks, N.Y.; her mother, Mrs. Josie Vohuska, Oxford Junction; five sisters, Mrs. Joseph Shedek and Blanche Vohuska, Oxford Junction; Mrs. Elmer Stahle and Bessie Vohuska, Clutier; Mrs. Howard Brinker, Maquoketa, and five brothers: Edward, Clutier; Otto, Riverside; Joseph, Blairstown; and Emil and Frank, Oxford Junction.

Those attending the service from here were Mrs. Josie Vohuska, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Shedek, Mrs. Glenn Bright and daughter, Karen, Mrs. Frank Benischek and son, Leonard, Mrs. Albert Benischek, Blanche Vohuska, Mrs. John Beranek, Mrs. Ed Hronik, Albert Vohuska, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Benhart, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Benhart and Sylvester Benischek.
