SCOTCH GROVE--Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 16, for Mrs. Frank Pelky, 75, former Scotch Grove resident, who died in a Dallas, Texas, hospital following a brief illness.

Services were held at the Sparkman Funeral home. Rev. Roy M. Quill, Lutheran pastor, officiated at the service. Rev. Quill is a native Iowan with relatives in Webster City. Burial was in Dallas, Texas.

She was born Emma Rickels, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rickels, Scotch Grove, on the farm now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Ed Janssen. She attended the local schools.

She was married to Frank Pelky who was the depot agent for the Milwaukee railroad through Scotch Grove. After the family left Scotch Grove, they lived for a number of years in Wyoming where Mr. Pelky was employed as a painter and paper hanger. Three years ago they moved to Dallas.

Survivors include her husband Frank, Dallas; a son, Robert; two grandchildren, Bonnie and Karen Pelky, Dallas, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. G. J. Hughes, Scotch Grove and Lottie, Mrs. Kent Moats, Big Timber, Mont.
