Funeral service for Clifford Larson, 58, who died Sunday at Mercy hospital, Anamosa, was held Tuesday afternoon at the Linn Grove church. Rev. Lloyd Morise officiated. Burial was at Norwich cemetery. Pallbearers were Ray Martin, Will Clark, Sam Johnston, Will Ferguson, Marvin Johnston and Merrill Garrett. Smykil funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Clifford Larson was born in Fairview township, Jones county, April 20, 1886. He married Bonnie Allen. He farmed in the Linn Grove community for his entire life.

He became suddenly ill last Friday and was taken to Mercy hospital Anamosa, where he died Sunday of heart disease.

Surviving him are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Florence Reed; his mother, Mrs. Addie Larson, Amber; three brothers, Lee, Marion; Earl and Glen, Anamosa; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Gunnison, Marion; Jennie Larson and Hattie Holmes, Anamosa; and four grandchildren Gwendolyn, Greth, Karen and Keith Reed.
